• Martin Stein worked as a senior designer/director and creative supervisor through the 1980's for a Boston-based graphics studio renowned for its award winning, innovative, and sophisticated design projects. Martin was pivotal in developing an advanced integrated photographic/graphics process offering a first of its kind service (which became Visual Conspiracy) for the Boston corporate community. The studio was also the first to use and offer the 'new technology'; digital graphic services. The technical innovations Martin developed and his propensity for the latest in graphics' technology planted the seeds for this forward thinking approach he continues to bring to his latest creations.
  
  
• Martin is sole proprietor of Visual Conspiracy since 1987. As a freelance graphic artist, he provided dynamic cutting edge illustrations for the technology, financial, educational, and publishing and retail businesses and institutions throughout greater Boston and vicinity. His work for these organizations were seen in trade show displays, corporate brochure and product promotional materials, as well as for advertising, presentation graphics, magazine and book covers. Businesses included: Polaroid, MIT, Houghton Mifflin, Digital, Fidelity Investments and others as well working with art directors for national and local advertising agencies and design firms.
  
  
• After Martin and his family moved to Cape Cod, he began to develop his own personal work and has been exhibiting his unique and recognizable style at fine art shows and festivals since 1992.
  His passion as a photographer, education in sculpture and fine art, formative years experimenting with oils, acrylic and pastel, lead to his choice of working in the graphic arts as a design professional and now as an independent artist. He imagines a world not seen through a lens but in the minds eye becoming a new realism. His theme, 'where water meets land', and our relationship with it, is the inspiration for these intersections of imagined realities. Virtually growing up on the beaches of Cape Ann, northern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and now Cape Cod, are the inspiring sources for Martin's illustrations.
